The Favourites Film Festival is now looking for volunteers to prepare for the 11th edition in Berlin.
The tasks include putting up festival posters and distributing programme booklets in the Berlin city area, taking photos and supporting the festival management, e.g. at the ticket counter during the festival.
5. December 2021
During the festival you were asked to evaluate the films of the main programme on ballots. This year´s winner is Išgyventi Vasarą | Summer Survivors by Marija Kavtaradzė. The winning film will be screened again on Sunday, Dec 5th at 3.30 pm.

The world in view – the programme of the 8th Favourites Film Festival Bremen is here!
What all the films have in common is a special warmth for their characters, strong cinematic images, great storytelling and a new perspective on social issues.
Tickets can be reserved and purchased via each film side now.
12. October 2021
Due to the pandemic the last two editions of the Favorites Film Festival Bremen planned for April had to be canceled. Now the festival is back and will take place from December 2nd to 5th at Bremen’s Kummunalkino City 46.
The festival will open on December 2nd with Bik Eneich – Un Fils | A Son, the debut film by Tunisian director Mehdi M. Barsaoui. The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and won the Audience Award at the Festival du Film de Namur in Belgium.
The program will be published at the end of October.
The 8th Favorites Film Festival Bremen will be held with a reduced number of seats in order to maintain the minimum distance. Vaccinated, negative tested and convalescent persons are admitted.

During the festival you are asked to evaluate the films of the main programme on ballots. The winner of the 10th Favourites Film Festival Berlin is Camille. The winning film will be screened again on Sunday, September 26, at 5.00 pm.

After a one year break, the Favorites Film Festival is back with its 10th edition. From September 22nd to 26th we will be showing handpicked international festival favourites in the City Kino Wedding. The festival concept has remained unchanged since 2011: We select current, strong, emotional films that have won an audience award at film festivals around the globe.
All films are shown with English subtitles.

Dearest Bremen audience,
you might have seen it coming: We will not go through with 8th edition of the Favourites Film Festival Bremen in April.
The films are selected, the programme is printed, the posters are put up and we are immensely sad, but also sure of our decision. Due to our unsure financial situation we are not sure yet whether we can postpone the festival, but we’ll try everything in our power.
